These Ultra Firefighter Suspenders are hand-crafted, hand-tooled, and hand-dyed using Premium whole grain Veg Tan leather from Hermann Oak. Two pieces are hand sewn together, only exposing the beautiful grain on both sides of the strap. Reinforcement material is placed in-between the 2 layers. Reinforcing the material will prevent the leather from warping, twisting, and deforming over time.
The width of the main straps are 1 - 1/2 inches and the thickness measures approximately 1/4 of an inch, making this already strong and tough leather, even more robust. With over 10 hours of build time, this work of art provides functionality and longevity for many generations to come.
